It’s all about the reflections. Colors morph as the lighting angle changes, evoking effects of liquid light through multiple reflections.

After commissioned work for private individuals and clubs, which mainly involved larger unique pieces, the desire for a smaller format arose. This format could be produced as a small series and made affordable for everyone. After more than a year of preparation, the first small series is now completed and already delights its first proud owners.

Liquid Light is a small manufactory based in Leipzig.
Here, light objects are created through precise handcraft, using dichroic film, stainless steel, brass, and selected woods.
Each piece is unique.
Reflections shift with the viewing angle, colors layer and overlap, creating the effect of liquid light.
We work in small series.
Sometimes as a single piece — made to measure, attuned to your space.
Our materials are durable.
We build objects for many years, for spaces that live and are allowed to change.
Liquid Light is an invitation to see light differently.

Hi. My Name is Hannes.
I’m a Leipzig-based Designer, specialized in working with dichroic film. When i’m not busy building new Objects, i work as a freelance Graphicdesigner with a passion for Editorial Design and Typography.
